LG Invision: AT&T introduces affordable mobile TV phone

LG Invision, AT&TAT&T in collaboration with LG has released the LG Invision, claimed to be the smallest MediaFLO handset to date. You can now enjoy mobile TV without burning a hole in your pocket. The device is third in series of MediaFLO phones to be released in the US.

The phone comprehends some great attributes like a 4×2” screen, a video share calling and a 1.3 megapixel camera. Featuring a Bluetooth 2.0, the LG Invision works on AT&T’s HSDPA network. According to AT&T, the service offers a viewership of more than 20 channels like CBS Mobile, ESPN Mobile TV, FOX Mobile and NBC2GO in about 58 markets.

The device further comes preloaded with services like AT&T Mobile Music which will let users download music from eMusic in addition to sideloading compatibility from Napster To Go and any unrestricted MP3 audio files. On board is also a digital radio by XM Radio Mobile streaming 25 satellite-radio channels to your phone for $8.99 a month.

The phone is priced at an affordable price of $150 with a two-year contract. Signing up for a qualifying contract ensures a $50 mail-in rebate and a $50 AT&T ‘promotion card’ If you do happen to count each penny you spend, you can buy the phone for just $50, but that’s minus all the above services.

The phone’s a fair buy for the price, that’s if you are just looking for a basic mobile TV handset.
