LG GW550 Handset In June, we witnessed the launch of the LG GW550. Phone enthusiasts yearning for a Windows Mobile smartphone can now grab this smartphone as it is now made available in South America and Asia, reports UnwiredView.

The GW550 handset comes with a stylish eye-catching look and is expected to appeal to all candybar phone lovers. Specifications wise, the handset shows off its 12mm thin body that easily fits in almost every pocket. It comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

The Wi-Fi enabled LG GW550 offers GSM and HSDPA connectivity and push email service. The handset equips a full QWERTY keypad for easy texting. The device is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system.

Reportedly, the device will initially be launched in Brazil and Argentina, followed by 20 other countries. The pricing details of the LG GW550 handset are still under wraps and expected to vary from country to country.
