LG G5 coming to India on June 1

The LG G5 is officially coming to India on June 1, with the company sending out invites for a launch event on that day in Gurgaon. The handset has already gone up for pre-orders in the nation.

The brand plans to kickstart the shipping process for early birds who have pre-ordered the LG G5 on June 1 as well. These first wave of adopters get to take advantage of a special offer which will see them receiving a Cam Plus worth Rs 6500 for free. Once booked, they’ll have to register themselves on the brand’s site to get the accessory delivered to their home.

Interested buyers have until May 31 to pre-book the smartphone via Flipkart, offline outlets or LG outposts. Unveiling the phone after pre-orders have already commenced is a slightly strange strategy for LG to follow. In any case, the occasion will give the brand the chance to show off the modular abilities of the handset and its special set of LG Friends accessories.
