LG G4 metallic version launched in India for Rs 40000

A new metallic variant of the LG G4 has been launched by the company and can be purchased for Rs 40000. The handset was initially released back in June in two versions, leather and ceramic white.

The LG G4 underwent a significant price cut earlier this month and is now retailing at Rs 45000 for its leather variant and Rs 40000 for the ceramic one. The metallic version of the device is selling only in India for now with no word as to whether it will be available for other markets in the future.

The new G4 has a diamond-patterned hammer-crafted metal body and possesses the same specs as the original. To recollect, the 4G-enabled phone has a 5.5-inch IPS QHD (1440 x 2560p) Quantum screen encased within Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, it’s powered by a 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor combined with 3GB of RAM.

The dual-SIM LG smartphone is fueled by a 3000mAh battery with smart charging technology and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based LG UX 4.0. It houses a 16MP main camera with laser autofocus and OIS, along with an 8MP front snapper. It contains 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card.
