LG G2 set to be released in India on September 30

The LG G2 which we had seen being unveiled in the US back in August, finally looks set to make its official debut in India. LG has started sending press invites for an event which is to take place in Delhi on September 30, and although the company hasn’t spoken anything about what the gathering will be all about, it’s ridiculously apparent that the G2 will be introduced in the country on the date. As for its release date, judging by the manufacturer’s past devices, you can expect this one to arrive in markets a few days after its unveiling.

The only question that lingers now – and it’s a pretty big one at that – is what price it will bear. With Samsung and Sony having unleashed their newest beasts already, tagged with pretty high price points, LG could utilize the time on its hand, and work towards readying a lower MRP than theirs. Any which way, that the price will breach the Rs 40,000 mark is a given.

The G2 comes equipped with a 5.2-inch display capable of delivering full HD resolution. It design highlight is the fact that its makers have placed the power and volume button on its rear instead of its side. Powering the LG G2 from within is a 2.26GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor which is assisted by a 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. A 13MP OIS camera, a 3,000mAh battery and 32GB worth of internal memory are some of its other important specs.

Like we said, you can expect the LG G2 to be unveiled for India on September 30, while its market release date still remains a mystery.
