LG G Flex flexes its muscles in leaked press shots

What we’re seeing here are apparent press images of the LG G Flex, a smartphone bearing LG’s bendable and unbreakable display technology which is rumored to be released as early as next month. While its specifications remain in the dark, we do have information indicating that it will come equipped with a 6-inch touch panel. It’s all set to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Round which has gone for a horizontal curve in its display as opposed to the vertical arc of the LG G Flex.

These images have come via Engadget which has somehow managed to acquire vital details about the device. Although exact price and availability information is still missing, it is being said that LG will be releasing the G Flex sometime next month, just in time to cash in on the holiday rush.

A glance at the images sort of indicates that just like the G2, this device too will be granted button-less side surfaces. This means that the power and volume control switches could find their way onto its rear surface. The minimal bezel which this phone seems to exhibit will definitely add to its strong points.

Just a few days back, the Galaxy Round was showcased to the world by Samsung, also featuring a curved display. This smartphone seems to be a variant of the Note 3, as it kicks in a 5.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen proffering 1080p FHD visuals. Apart from these, a number of other advanced specs also find their way into the Galaxy Round.

We might have had our (apparent) first glimpse at the LG G Flex, but nothing official about it is out as of now.
