Lenovo Vibe K5 lands in India at Rs 6999

The Lenovo Vibe K5 has finally been launched in India and is all set to be sold via Amazon India on June 22. Registrations for the new handset are now up and running on the site.

To recall, the dual-SIM Lenovo Vibe K5 initially made its debut alongside its Plus variant back in February during the MWC 2016. The latter subsequently made its way to India in March priced at Rs 8499. The new handset is the more affordable option between the two thanks to its Rs 6999 cost. The devices appear to offer a similar set of specs.

Notable differences include the new Lenovo handset’s 5-inch 720p resolution screen and 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor. In terms of memory, the phone packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal room. Users who run out of space quickly can expand its storage capabilities up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.

In spite of its budget cost, the Vibe K5 tries to project a premium feel with its aluminum alloy metal body. It also sports dual speakers on its rear surface equipped with Dolby Atmos technology. As for its photography skills, the phone offers a 13MP camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper.
