The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 is a brand new Android tablet which aims at delivering several interesting features for a very affordable price of just Rs 4999. Unlike most slates you get in this category, it promises to come with great battery life and decent hardware.
The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 made its global debut just last week at the CES 2015 and it’s tagged much cheaper compared to the amount being asked for it in the US, which is $99 (approximately Rs 6150 after conversion). One of the biggest attractions of the tablet is that it comes with Android 4.4 KitKat preloaded and you’ll probably have to deal with the company’s own custom UI.
What’s more, the Lenovo device has been guaranteed an upgrade to Lollipop to make the tablet future-proof. Also, we doubt any other sub-Rs 5000 phone or slate which is already in the market will ever be treated to the latest Google mobile OS. On the hardware front, the A7-10 comes with a 7-inch 1024 x 600-pixel IPS LCD touchscreen.

And to deliver the steam, there’s a 1.3GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor tucked away on the inside. Where memory is concerned, Lenovo has included 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and a microSD card slot. There’s also a VGA front camera, but no rear snapper and this model lacks cellular connectivity as well, which is a downer.
Here’s an overview of the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10’s specifications:
– Android 4.4 KitKat (upgradable to Lollipop)
– 1GB RAM
– 8GB internal flash storage, 32GB microSD expansion
– 7-inchy WSVGA touchscreen
– VGA front camera
– 3450mAh battery w/ up to 8 hours of activity
– Dolby Audio
The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 can be purchased in black exclusively through Snapdeal.
