A brand new Lenovo RocStar A319 music phone has been launched in India for a price of Rs 6499, as part of the company’s A series lineup. We know it’s difficult to tell one budget Android handset from another, and Lenovo’s latest doesn’t try to please your eyeballs with anything different in terms of design either.
But for music lovers, the Lenovo RocStar has one or two interesting features inside. Its audio system is supported by Dolby Digital Plus technology, while the Guvera app comes preloaded. The application lets you stream tracks for free, though you can pay your way out of ads and even listen to songs offline at a price.
Even the company’s DOit tools such as SHAREit, SYNCit and SECUREit make their way into the device. Also intended to paint the RocStar A319 as a complete package for those who love their music, is a pair of ‘superior’ quality earphones which is bundled in along with it.
One of the least impressive specs of this Lenovo handset is its dual core chip from MediaTek. Come on, it could have at least done quad core for the price it demands. There’s support for microSD cards of up to 32GB to make up for its 4GB ROM, as well as 512MB RAM.

You get a 4-inch 800 x 480p resolution display crowned by a 2MP webcam with the RocStar A319. Flip the phone onto its front and a 5MP camera with flash is present on the rear panel. Some of the other key elements worth mentioning cover dual SIM slots, 3G connectivity and a 1500mAh battery.
