The Lenovo K900 has made itself available here in India, and those wishing to buy the handset should make sure that they book it prior to July 1 in order to avail of a Rs 4,000 discount on its retail value. The actual tag on the Intel-powered Lenovo smartphone reads Rs 32,999, whereas right now, it can be bought at Rs 28,999, by entering the code, ‘k900ishere’ while checking out on the company’s online store for the country.

We had got to know back in April that the handset will be hitting the nation the following month, in May. But that wasn’t to be, and it was only earlier this month that we were informed about a delay, when its maker announced its MRP, while revealing that it will be delivered to consumers only in July. The online store expects the product to reach buyers’ doorsteps within 7 to 8 business days.

The Lenovo K900 bears on its front surface a 5.5-inch IPS display which grabs a coating of Gorilla Glass 2 and possesses a full HD resolution. A dual core Intel Atom Z2580 chipset clocked at 2GHz toils at the heart of the handset, to proffer it with the necessary operational speeds. And it is assisted in this department by a 2GB LPDDR2 SDRAM. The chipset also bears an integrated Intel GMA GPU which ticks at 533MHz.

Device 2

Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is the preferred OS of the device, and speaking about its imaging attributes, it can be noted that a 13MP AF snapper with a dual LED flash and a 2MP webcam both find their way onto it. 16GB of onboard storage memory has been granted to the phone, but there’s no microSD card slot for further expansions.

Device 3

The K900 sells now at a price of Rs 28,999, but from July 1 onwards, it will start going for Rs 32,999, so interested parties must rush with their orders. They should take note of the above mentioned code to avail of the offer.
