The Lenovo K8 and K8 Plus have made its debut in India, with the brand continuing its focus on providing a stock Android experience. The former doesn’t have a price tag or release date yet, but the latter has both.
The K8 Plus will be a Flipkart-exclusive which is hitting the site on September 7. It’ll set buyers back by Rs 10499 for its 3GB of RAM model. Lenovo plans to offer a 4GB of RAM variant called the K8 Plus Holiday Edition during the upcoming Diwali festivities. It’s currently bundling the phone with a boatload of deals.
Some of these K8 Plus schemes include Moto Pulse 2 headphones at Rs 599, an exchange deal worth up to Rs 10000, a BuyBack guarantee of up to Rs 5000, an extra 15% off on Flipkart Fashion from September 7 to September 8, a Bluetooth speaker at Rs 1199, and 30GB of additional Reliance Jio 4G data. There’s also a 5% discount for Axis Bank Buzz credit card holders.
The main talking point of the K8 Plus is its dual cameras. The primary 13MP one captures the photo, while the secondary 5MP lens records depth information. As a result, users can adjust the focus of a photo before it’s been taken, as well as after.
As for the K8, the handset is a slightly downgraded version of its Plus cousin. It packs almost the same set of specs except for its 5.2-inch 720p screen, solitary 13MP rear shooter, and 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P20 processor. It’ll be sold via physical retailers soon.
