Lenovo K3 Note to go on flash sale through Flipkart at 3pm

The Lenovo K3 Note has continued its track record from last week, selling over 45000 units in 5 seconds in its third week of sales. If you’re interested in getting the sought-after handset, registrations for the next July 29 sale begin today at 6pm on Flipkart.

The black variant of the Lenovo K3 Note vended 27000 units in 2.7 seconds and the white one sold 18000 units in 2.3 seconds. The company continued its strategy of releasing the versions at different times, the black at 12pm and the white at 3pm. It had proven successful for the 2nd flash sale, where 49800 units were gone in 8.5 seconds.

The first event sold over 47440 units in 5.2 seconds, both variants being sold at the same time. The company claims over 1 million registrations have been received in the fortnight since the launch of the K3 Note. The figure for the latest sale goes to show how popular the device still is, probably because of its budget-friendly price of Rs 9999 and good specs.

The Lenovo K3 Note will have to face new competition in the form of the Yureka Plus. The Yu device was re-launched with upgraded features this week, showcasing a full HD display and better camera sensor. It costs the same and has identical specs except for a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and a lower 2500mAh battery.
