The flash sale model seems to be working well for the Lenovo K3 Note, with the second one today selling over 49800 units on Flipkart. If you’re among those who couldn’t grab it this time, registrations for the next flash sale on July 22 begin at 6pm.
The company adopted a different strategy for the second flash sale, vending its black Lenovo K3 Note first at 12pm, then making the white one available at 3pm. The black model is apparently more popular, selling 30000 units in 3.9 seconds, while the white variant sold 19800 units in 4.3 seconds.
Over 47440 units of the K3 Note were gone in 5.2 seconds during the first sale. More than 461863 people enrolled for the second, with the company claiming that 1 million registrations have been received in total over the past fortnight. The numbers indicate the phablet is rapidly gaining in popularity, its affordable Rs 9999 price tag and solid specs probably playing a big part in its success.
