The Lenovo IdeaPad A10 dual mode notebook has been launched in India and interested users can lay their hands over the Android device by forking out an amount of Rs 19,990. Its thin and lightweight form factor makes it ultra-portable and the laptop has already hit store shelves across the country.
Android basically is a mobile platform for smartphones and tablets, but is being adopted by various types of gadgets and laptops are one of them. This particular device makes the most of a customized version of the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS and we are expecting a software update to be in the offing. The notebook comes packed within a chassis with dimensions of 269mm x 185mm x 17.3mm and tips the scales at 1 kilograms.
As we said, the IdeaPad A10 is a dual mode gadget which means it can act as a laptop and you can even place it upright on a flat surface to watch videos in the stand mode. The laptop claims to have a battery life of around 10 hours and is accompanied by an AccuType keyboard that features rounded buttons to facilitate accurate typing. This quad-core processor-powered machine also allows you to make conference calls using its front-mounted 0.3MP camera.
The Lenovo IdeaPad A10 is available now through the eStore as well as authorized retail channels and shopping portals for just under Rs 19,990.
