The Lenovo Ideapad 110 has been launched in India, with the company hoping to target first-time laptop users like students and young working professionals in the country. The device starts at Rs 20490 and goes up to Rs 24990 depending on the configuration chosen.

The entry-level Lenovo Ideapad 110 offers a pretty standard set of specs for an entry-level laptop. The company is hoping to lure potential buyers into snapping up the notebook by offering it with an Accident Damage Protection (ADP) policy which promises to insure the laptop in case of any accidents like spills, drops, and electrical surges.

Lenovo is also honing in on students with a Back to College program which promises attractive EMI schemes on select models of the laptop. They’ll also be at liberty to take up a special offer which bundles 3 years of warranty worth Rs 4499 in addition to a year’s worth of an ADP cover if they’re willing to pay Rs 599 extra.

Interested buyers of the Ideapad 110 will get to choose between a dual-core Intel Celeron or Pentium quad-core processor. The notebook carries a 15.6-inch screen which outputs its visuals in a decent 1366 x 768p resolution. Its 24WHr battery can supposedly last for 4 hours of continuous video playback.
