The Lenovo CG Slate has been launched in India as an instructive tablet meant for children in kindergarten, LKG, UKG, first grade and the second grade. The device is the result of collaboration between the brand and ConveGenius, an educational technology company.
The new Lenovo CG Slate is priced at Rs 8499 and currently up for pre-orders via Flipkart. The e-commerce site is selling it for Rs 1000 cheaper under a limited-period offer. The tablet is meant to make studying fun for kids, with the main concept behind it being a gamified approach to learning where a student is taught through games, videos and interactive books.
The Lenovo device’s content is notably based on the NCERT syllabus and is stored within a free 32GB SD card which serves to augment the slate’s 8GB of internal room. Kids will get access to three different zones namely a Learn Zone, Play Zone and Shop Zone. The first covers various subjects like English, maths, Hindi, social awareness, personal care, environmental sciences, and general knowledge.
