The LeEco Le 2 and Le Max 2 have made their way to India a few months after the two first hit the scene in China. The former is priced at Rs 11999 for the 3GB/32GB version, while the latter will be up for sale at Rs 22999 for the 4GB/32GB model and Rs 29999 for the 6GB/64GB one.
Intriguingly, neither the LeEco Le 2 nor the Le Max 2 come with the standard 3.5mm headphone jack. Instead, both rely on the USB Type-C port to supply their music obligations. The brand has even developed its own CDLA (continual digital lossless audio) standard to ensure high-quality sound output.
Sadly, LeEco has chosen not to bundle compatible headphones along with the new smartphones. Interested buyers will have to use Bluetooth-connected earphones or buy the company’s own USB Type-C Le Headphones for Rs 1990. It’s a considerable investment to make and may prove to be the main factor driving or halting sales of the phones.
Both the Le 2 and Le Max 2 will be sold with a bonus 1-year LeEco Membership worth Rs 4900 a year. The former is notably different from the Chinese variant in that it runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor in place of the original’s deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC.

The LeEco Le 2 and Le Max 2 are set to be available via Flipkart and LeMall. The former’s availability details will be announced soon. The latter is going on its first flash sale on June 28. Registrations for it start on June 20.
