The Lava IvoryS 4G has made its debut in India, with the manufacturer hoping to capture the entry-level tablet sector in the nation. To that end, the slate has been slapped with a Rs 8799 price tag and will be sold via offline and online retailers.
The main highlight of the Lava IvoryS 4G is its support for LTE connectivity. The voice-calling tablet otherwise offers pretty standard specs for the affordable market segment. It carries a 7-inch screen which outputs its visuals in a resolution of 1280 x 800p. A 1GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor powers the device and gets it through the day with the aid of 1GB RAM.
Users will have access to 16GB of internal space in the IvoryS 4G for their storage requirements. They can expand on its memory capacity by up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. It should be noted that the dual-SIM setup in the tablet supports 4G in only one slot, with the other only being compatible with 3G or 2G SIM cards.
