Lava Iris X1 Beats is for music lovers, unveiled for Rs 6552 in India

The Lava Iris X1 Beats is the second entertainment-oriented smartphone we’ve seen going official recently and this handset has some pretty nice features aboard for the Rs 6552 price tag it carries. The phone carries the tagline ‘will mesmerize your senses’ and has a combination of beautiful looks with quality hardware to honor its claim.

Being part of the X1 series, the Lava Iris X1 Beats takes on the same design as its siblings. The handset isn’t the fastest or even the tallest in the series, but it does have its own unique features. It packs a K-Class amplifier for high quality audio output through the built-in stereo speakers. It most certainly has the upper hand over the Q600 Club from Xolo which went official just today with DTS audio onboard and an IR blaster.

Not only is the Lava handset cheaper, it also offers better hardware. A 5-inch FWVGA display caters to visuals, while a 1.2GHz quad core processor does the heavy lifting on the inside. The smartphone has dual cameras with a VGA sensor on the front and a 5MP shooter on the rear. In the memory department, there’s 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and a microSD card slot.
