Lava Iris Fuel 10 and Iris Fuel 25 make their entry with 3000mAh batteries

The previously unannounced Lava Iris Fuel 10 and Iris Fuel 25 handsets have just been infused into the Indian smartphone market by the company, with their price points set at Rs 6541 and Rs 5666, respectively. Like all other offerings from the Fuel series, the USP of these two gadgets is also the fact they offer long battery life.

They do this with the help of 3000mAh power packs that have been pushed inside their bodies. It has been announced by their manufacturer that the Lava Iris Fuel 10 and the Iris Fuel 25 will be sold along with 500MB of Airtel 3GB data for two months. It’s meant for prepaid consumers, and will remain valid only till June 30 2015.

Lava Iris Fuel 10

Lava has equipped the Iris Fuel 10 with a 4.5-inch display bearing a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. With its 3000mAh battery, it’s able to dole out 14 hours of talktime on 3G. It runs the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, but is in line for a 5.0 Lollipop update which will arrive soon.

A 1.3GHz quad core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM powers this smartphone. Furthermore, the Iris Fuel 10 grabs 8GB of expandable storage as well. Its rear surface sports a 5MP camera, while its front face has been fitted with a 2MP snapper.

Coming to the Lava Iris Fuel 25, this new device features a slightly larger 5-inch monitor with a WVGA resolution. There’s a 5MP snapper onboard, apart from a VGA front camera. The combination of a 1GHz dual core processor and 512MB of RAM powers its operations. Lastly, this phone is able to dole out 15 hours of talktime on 3G.

Like we said, the Lava Iris Fuel 10 and Iris Fuel 25 smartphones will be made available for purchase at Rs 6541 and Rs 5666, respectively.
