The Lava Iris 501 price has been announced and the phone will be making its way to stores around the country shortly. The manufacturer has spilled out a detailed list of specifications, but holds back information about the accurate release date.
Well, the good news is that the display of the Iris 501 expands as much as 5 inches diagonally. On the other hand, it is a little disappointing to find out that the incorporated capacitive screen has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, even as so many large screen smartphones are capable of spewing out visuals in full HD.
The dual SIM phone settles for the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS and holds a dual core MTK processor clocked at 1GHz at its heart. There is 512MB of RAM with respect to system memory. 4GB of internal storage space may not necessarily meet users’ requirements and so, a TF slot finds its way onto the device. The launch date details for the Lava Iris 501 are still kept under wraps, while its price stands at Rs. 9,999. The OEM also discloses that the handset will be tagging along a special back cover as well as a 4GB memory card.
