Lava Flair S1, A52 budget phones launched in India

The Lava Flair S1 and A52 have been launched in India, with both handsets getting listed on the brand’s site before any kind of official announcement. The new offerings target the highly competitive entry-level segment in the country.

The dual-SIM Lava Flair S1 and A52 have a lot in common and as such will likely have to battle with each other, especially given the narrow gap in cost between the handsets. The first is officially listed at Rs 4349 but can be bought at Rs 3799 via various e-commerce sites such as Amazon India, Flipkart and Snapdeal.

The A52 has been slapped with a Rs 3599 price tag but hasn’t appeared on any third-party sites as of now. It’ll probably be released within the next couple of weeks. Diving into its specs, the phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and derives its power from a 1200mAh battery.

Potential buyers of the Lava phone can make use of 4GB of internal room for their memory requirements. This can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. A 1.3GHz dual-core processor helps the smartphone power through a day with the help of 512MB of RAM.
