The upgraded version of the popular Beats by Dr. Dre in-ear headphones range has arrived in the form of Heartbeats designed by Lady Gaga. This upgraded version claims to deliver very clear sonic technology and derives inspiration from the singer’s fixation for leather and studs.
The company says that their headsets reflect the pop idol’s sense of style and are a must for her fans. Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, the founders of the Beats line have worked in detail with Gaga’s label Monster to develop this improved version with a cutting edge audio performance which matches her futuristic fashion sense.
“The new design of Heartbeats by Lady Gaga is parallel with her stage show right now…dark and beautiful, with an edge and of course, extraordinary sound for her fans,” stated Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of Interscope Geffen-A&M Records and co-founder of Beats by Dr. Dre.
The headphones are crafted with a new lightweight design and possess six sets of ear tips to enable proper fitting for users’ ears. It also comes with a tangle free cable and a hard carrying case. Furthermore, it features ControlTalk, which allows iPhone music playback control as well as hands-free calls with iPhone and other smartphones. A Facebook contest has been organized by the companies for hardcore fans of the singing icon to win these headphones
Noel Lee, Head Monster commented, “We continue to advance the sound performance of Heartbeats to meet the demands of Gaga’s ever changing music. Combined with the unique look of Heartbeats, we believe that we have produced a winning combination of sound and fashion. We know that all of Gaga’s ‘Monsters’ will love what we have accomplished together between Beats, Gaga, and Monster.”
Heartbeats by Lady Gaga are available in black and gold colors at Best Buy and select retailers for a price of $149.00.
