One year following the release of its iFood Assistant, the company is extending its present app to encompass iFood Assistant 2.0 with superior content for iPhone users. Another app known as iFood Assistant Lite is available in BalckBerry and iPhone. Moreover, the company is also presenting better mobile access to its websites for effortless surfing of recipes with any web-enabled handset.

The iFood Assistant 2.0 is created by the Hyperfactory and Meredith Integrated Marketing, the mobile specialists. The app comes with Shopping List, Recipe Box, and Daily Recipes. There is a facility to fix alerts for ‘Dinner Tonight’, ‘Recipe of the Day’ and ‘Special Offers’. Now there is a ‘Holidays & Entertaining’ section and also extended ‘Budget Wise’ segment.
iFood Lite provides consumers with a free taste of the app’s central attributes like tips or recipes accessible on iPhone and BlackBerry devices.
One can purchase iFood Assistant 2.0 on their iPhone or iPod touch for $0.99 in iTunes App Store or itunes.com. iFood Assistant Lite is accessible for free from the App Store. The Lite app on BlackBerry can be downloaded through the App World from mid-December.
