Konami Digital Entertainment brings to iPhone and iPod touch owners a taste of all the baseball action. The company hits these portable devices with the MLB Power Pros Touch 2010 App. This sporting title features official Major League Baseball teams, club marks as well as active Major League Baseball player names and likenesses. This is possible through the collaboration of the MLB Advanced Media and Major League Baseball Players Association with Konami.

The MLB Power Pros Touch 2010 App enables sporting fans to indulge in gameplay with their favorite MLB players. They can execute moves like pitch, bat and run with a simple tap and slide of the finger. Gamers also have the ability to rearrange pitching rotations and batting orders as well as change their team’s name, uniform design and logo.

Joe Morris, Vice President of Mobile Content and Social Networking for Konami Digital Entertainment commented, “We are thrilled to be launching the finest mobile baseball game available on the broadest array of handsets, with the deepest penetration.”

Mike Amin, Director of Interactive Games and Internet at MLBPA stated, “We’re pleased to be working with Konami on this officially-licensed app which includes Major League baseball player names, uniforms and numbers, and all 30 MLB teams. Konami has a proven track record of creating great baseball titles for consoles in both Japan and in the U.S., so we’re very excited to help bring the MLB Power Pros Touch 2010 App to iPhone and iPod touch users and include players who fans know and love.”

The Season Mode lets players enjoy the complete Major League Baseball season as well as customize schedules with 25, 50 or 162 game season options. They can also challenge friends in Wireless Mode via Bluetooth while compete against the computer in Exhibition Mode. The actual Major League Baseball team can be customized to fashion their unique lineup with Custom Mode.

The MLB Power Pros Touch 2010 App bears a cost of $7.99 and can be acquired from the App Store.
