Kingston DataTraveler microDuo 3C hybrid USB flash drive launched in India

The Kingston DataTraveler microDuo 3C has been launched in India and is all set to hit Flipkart later this month. The unique hybrid USB flash drive allows users to utilize both a USB Type A and USB Type-C port.

The dual-USB Kingston DataTraveler microDuo 3C will be available in 3 versions. The basic model is priced at Rs 800 for 16GB worth of storage. The higher capacity 32GB version goes for Rs 1200. The 64GB unit is the most expensive of the lot at Rs 2000. All the variants offer a read speed of up to 100MB/s and a write speed of up to 15MB/s.

Specs-wise, the DataTraveler microDuo 3C is compatible with USB 3.1, 3.0 and 2.0 ports. The USB Type-A slot is fixed on one end, while the USB Type-C port has been placed on the other. Its hybrid abilities set it apart from regular flash drives since it can connect to both smartphones and PCs, making life easier for people who regularly transfer content between both.
