Kensington has come up with an innovative combination of a charging dock with mini battery. The device claims to be a perfect travel dock for the iPhone.
The charging dock simultaneously charges the iPhone or iPod and the mini battery pack. The mini battery pack facilitates users to carry backup power in case they fall short of charge. The battery pack amplifies the playtime up to 30 hours of music, 6 hours of video and 3 hours of talk for the iPhone. The dock is handy and can be effortlessly used at home as well as workplace.
The Kensington charging dock is packaged along with a detachable USB charging and syncing cable. The dock is compatible with the iPhone 3G, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPod Nano (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th generation), iPod Classic, iPod Mini and iPod (1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th generation). iPhone and iPod users can charge their Apple device even while it is in a case.
The Kensington device can be pre-ordered for $69.99 and is expected to start shipping somewhere near October, 2009.
