The Karbonn Titanium S8, Titanium S6 and Titanium S4 Plus smartphones have been made available for purchase in India with prices starting at just Rs 5240. What’s interesting is that the OEM hasn’t gone on the record about the existence of these devices and it’ll most likely skip that part.
The Karbonn Titanium S4 Plus is the smallest amongst the three smartphones and it runs on Android 4.4.2. It offers a 4-inch 800 x 480 pixel IPS LCD panel with a 2MP camera on the front, while the rear packs a 5MP snapper. On the inside, there’s a 1.3GHz quad core processor, dual SIM slots, 1GB RAM, 4GB storage and HSPA+ connectivity.
One of the phone’s main highlights is its weight which is just 104 grams. The Karbonn handset is clearly a better deal compared to the Moto E. But the latter is assured to get Lollipop, while the former is most likely to be stuck on KitKat. Next up is the Titanium S8 which also runs on Android 4.4 and offers dual SIM card slots.
What’s different here is that the screen size is 5 inches with FWVGA resolution and the internal storage is set at 8GB with 64GB expansion via the microSD card slot. This Karbonn handset also has an 1800mAh battery, an 8MP rear camera and a 1.3GHz quad core processor. The Titanium S6 is a slight step up from the S8 with a better display and battery capacity amongst its offerings.
