The Indian smartphone market is being treated to a new super affordable mid-range release, the Karbonn Titanium Mach One, which has gone on sale for just Rs 6990. The handset comes with some pretty nice features for what you’ll be paying and it’s also slated to receive the latest Android OS from Google.
The smartphone runs on version 4.4 KitKat and it will be updated to Lollipop in the future, notes the product page. The Karbonn Titanium Mach One is pretty similar to the Redmi 1S from Xiaomi and while it does cost more, you do get slightly updated features.
Some of the main highlights of this device include its 4.7-inch 720p HD IPS display and 5MP front-facing selfie camera with an LED flash, both under the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Karbonn phone also has an 8MP rear shooter with an LED flash. And on the inside, there’s a 1.3GHz quad core processor delivering the steam.

Accompanying it is 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, a microSD slot and dual SIM housings. Apart from these features, the handset also has support for 21 Indian languages and dual mic noise reduction. The 1800mAh battery is complemented by the Stamina Mode which helps prolong activity time.
