Reliance Jio has launched a brand new JioFi 4G LTE hotspot device called the JioFi JMR815 in India. The wireless data card has been priced at Rs 999 and is currently being sold exclusively via Flipkart.
The JioFi JMR815 sports a very different design from the original JioFi device. The new variant has a neat circular shape, while the older one had a more egg-shaped look. The latter was very popular, so the latest version has a lot to live up to.
Reliance Jio has blessed the gadget with the ability to process download speeds of up to 150Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50MBps. The company’s prominently displayed a “Designed in India” inscription at the back, all the better to help sales among people who like to purchase Make in India products.
As far as features go, the JioFi JMR815 comes with physical on/off and WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) buttons. Located next to the buttons are notification lights for Wi-Fi signal strength, battery, and 4G. 1 USB port is present to connect 1 user through a cable.
31 others can connect to the wireless data card via Wi-Fi. All sorts of electronic items are compatible including laptops, phones, tablets, smart TVs, and CCTV cameras. Jio is additionally offering HD voice and video calling through its Jio 4G voice app on handsets.

In terms of specs, the JioFi JMR815 packs a 3000mAh battery, 64GB of storage expansion support, and an ALT3800 processor. It’s compatible with FDD-Band 3, Band 5, and TDD-Band 40. Once again, you can snap it up via Flipkart.
