Job hunting these days could really be a task. Hoping to simplify it, the IT Job Board has released an iPhone application that is claimed to be the first of its kind which is IT job specific.
Around 19,588 jobs listed on the site are searchable by means of this application. The app will also display the content from the IT Job Board blog, hosted using an RSS feed. This offers the most recent industry news and updates.

By means of the application, candidates can hunt for live jobs anytime and anywhere. The potent search function facilitates users to narrow down the job search by location, salary and job title. The geo location finder exhibits local results. A click is all that is required to short list a job and it gets directly sent to the inbox.
The IT Job Board can provide the application to its candidate base using an email marketing promotion and through advertising in the site and blog.
The application was made accessible for download earlier this month in the iPhone App Store. This app can also run on the iPod Touch.
