Iron Man’s Jarvis automated intelligent system is being developed by Indians

If all goes as planned for the two Indian Computer Science students working on an intelligent computing technology, then Tony Stark’s Jarvis digital assistant from Iron Man will soon be a reality. Chirag Dewan and Himanshu Vaishnav have set up their own company which employs 8 people from different countries, all of whom are currently working towards developing the said system.

Apparently , it is not one of those startups which concentrate on developing new input methods, this is entirely a new concept and the said company is dedicated towards making its very own operating system that has artificial intelligence. It should understand voice, gestures and even conventional methods of giving commands.

The OS is said to have a completely redesigned user experience and according to one of the developers and owners of the startup, it will continue to use the paradigm used by conventional systems. The main motive is to make it artificially so intelligent that people can interact with it like they would with an individual.

But what should be noted is that Jarvis is not being developed for the mobile phones at all. The makers wish to introduce the new technology for desktops and other connected devices as well as home automation.

It seems like a distant dream, because Financial Express reports that the first version will go live only 18 months after the company manages to get its first level of funding. Also, this will be when the SDK will be sent over to the developers so they can design appropriate apps for the platform.
