iPhone and iPod Touch enhanced with Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! News

Yahoo! Mail iPhoneTechnology certainly plays up on our minds now than ever before. More often than not we would find ourselves reaching for our phone or computer to send a message much unlike before. Exploiting the latest technology, Yahoo! claims to have introduced Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! News on HTML5. The former should provide customers with a quick and more refined mobile browsing experience.

With Yahoo! Mail, users can now look forward to a quick and reliable web mail experience that also includes rich content. The functionality of this application now appears to be widespread as it’s universally available in 28 languages across 200 countries.

The application enables consumers to view HTML messages, compose rich text messages, reply and search emails; they can also view folders when offline. It enables users to manage their folders and create smart folders with messages from key contacts. Within the mail preview users can access photos and video attachments directly. They can also enjoy an uninterrupted experience with Yahoo! Mail across mobile and desktop.

News is often related to boredom but not anymore as Yahoo! makes news attractive with photos, slideshows and video features providing users a chance to explore related articles. To deliver a convincing new experience Yahoo! News includes a new layout with animated visual effects and navigation that uses touch gestures.

As of now Yahoo! Mail is available on the iPhone and iPod Touch and in the future it is expected to hit other webkit-enabled browsers. As for Yahoo! News, it is available in the U.S. on the iPhone or iPod Touch and should reach additional countries and on additional devices soon.
