If the new set of rumors that is doing the rounds of the web is to be believed, then the iPhone 6 is gearing up for its arrival this September. This hardly comes as a surprise considering that Apple hosts an event in September every year to launch the new generation smartphone.
According to a website called Nekkie, the manufacturers of the smartphone’s panel will soon start producing the component in full force. And those who were not too keen on picking up the gadget due to its relatively small screen, will be glad to know that the iPhone 6 is slated to arrive in variants with either 4.7-inch or 5.5-inch touchscreens.
Manufacturers like LG Electronics, Mobara plant of Japan Display’s as well as Kameyama factory of Sharp are slated to start producing these panels sometime between April and June. Potential customers who are eagerly awaiting the iPhone 6 can look forward to a screen with resolution higher than that of the current versions.
Apart from the LCD panels, the aforementioned website seems to have some information regarding a couple of other components as well. It says that fingerprint sensors as well as chips for liquid crystal drivers have already gone into mass production. So one thing is for sure, the iPhone 6 will definitely feature a fingerprint sensors, like its predecessor, the iPhone 5S.
