Reliance has partnered up with domestic smartphone manufacturer Intex to announce a new scheme which gives away up to 25GB of free 4G data. All a person needs to benefit from the initiative is a Jio SIM card and a 4G-ready Intex handset.
Most of Intex’s 4G portfolio appear to be included in the offer such as the Aqua 4G Mini, Cloud Q11, Aqua Strong 5.1, Cloud Style 4G, Elyt-e1, and Aqua Zenith. To get started, owners will have to head to the MyJio app and open the ‘My Vouchers’ section in the menu.
The Additional Data Voucher should be visible under the View tab. They’ll have to tap on recharge to complete the process before receiving a confirmation that they’ve successfully redeemed the voucher. Under the terms of the deal, they’ll get 5GB of free data if they recharge for at least Rs 309.
Intex customers can do so for a maximum of 5 recharge cycles, after which the scheme ends. The brand isn’t the only one cozying up to Reliance Jio. Xiaomi, Asus and Oppo have all announced data benefits for the telecom operator’s customers over the course of the past few months.

Oppo buyers have it slightly better than Intex ones since owners of the F1 Plus, F3, and F3 Plus will all get 10GB of free 4G data upon recharging for Rs 309 and above. They’ll be limited to 6 recharging cycles, effectively translating to 60GB of free data.
