Earlier today, we saw the Aqua AMOLED go on sale in India and a second device called the Intex Aqua Xtreme V has also been officially launched in the country. The new release has popped up on the company’s website with a price tag of Rs 11290.
The Intex Aqua Xtreme V obviously falls in the company’s Xtreme series which was launched back in December of last year. The phone is a mid-range option offering some pretty good features at the said amount. It comes with an attractive design that’s not only lightweight at 119.5 grams, but also pretty slim as it measure just 6.99mm.
The Intex phone also delvers octa core performance as it comes with a 1.7GHz chipset which we’re more than certain is from MediaTek based on the Cortex A7. For visuals, the company has gone with a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display that’s coated with Dragontail Glass for extra protection. The exterior also plays host to dual cameras where the front has a 5MP selfie shooter and the rear, a 13MP snapper.

The Aqua Xtreme V is loaded with Android 4.4 KitKat and there’s no mention of whether it will get Lollipop anytime soon. Other features of the smartphone include 16GB storage, a microSD card slot, 2GB RAM, dual SIM support and a 2000mAh battery capable of up to 6 to 7 hours of talk time.
