The Intex Aqua Super, Aqua 3G NS and Aqua Wave have been launched in India priced at Rs 10390, Rs 3190 and Rs 2949, respectively. While the 1st 2 are listed on the brand’s website and are expected to occupy shelves soon, the last has gotten an official announcement and will arrive in stores by next week.
Starting off with the Intex Aqua Super, the affordable 4G handset boasts of having a 5-inch IPS HD screen with a display density of 320dpi. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and derives its power from a 2150mAh battery, which the company promises lasts for a maximum of 250 hours of standby time and 6 hours of talk time.
The dual-SIM Intex smartphone’s inner workings are fueled by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor. The manufacturer has granted it 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal space, expandable till 128GB via a microSD card slot. The handset’s camera setup consists of an 8MP autofocus rear snapper with flash and a 2MP front-facing one.
Moving on to the Intex Aqua 3G NS, the ultra-cheap device comes with the outdated Android 4.4.2 KitKat and a 4-inch 480 x 800p display. Under the hood, it packs a 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7715 SoC supported by 256MB of RAM. The dual-SIM handset contains a paltry 512MB of internal storage, which users can increase up to 32GB via a microSD card.

The Intex phone houses a 2MP autofocus main shooter accompanied by LED flash, alongside a 0.3MP selfie lens. It’s backed by a 1400mAh battery, which supplies a talk time of 3.5 hours and a standby time of 180 hours. The Aqua Wave mostly has the same specs as the 3G NS, expect it features a VGA camera on its front and rear surface.
People who buy the Intex Aqua Super get a free 1-year screen breakage warranty and bag pack. Once again, the handset retails for Rs 10390 and will be released next week. The Aqua 3G NS and Aqua Wave should be out soon at Rs 3190 and Rs 2949, correspondingly.
