Intex Aqua Star L is India’s first ever Android Lollipop smartphone

The Intex Aqua Star L has become the first smartphone from any Indian brand to offer the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS right out of the box to its buyers. Priced at Rs 6990, this handset is slated to be released on Monday exclusively through Snapdeal.

It can be noted that Xolo has already provided two of its previously released handsets with the Lollipop treat, but none of the Indian brands have launched a device that has come pre-installed with the said OS. The Intex Aqua Star L features a 5-inch IPS display bearing an FWVGA resolution.
