The Intex Aqua Qwerty is the manufacturer’s first smartphone that offers both a touchscreen as well as a full-fledged keyboard. Intex has priced this Android-based device at a very affordable rate that stands at under Rs 5,000.
In spite of quoting such a less amount, the device does not compromise on features and is even compatible with 3G networks, thus allowing potential buyers to browse the internet on high speeds. The Intex Aqua Qwerty can support dual GSM regular-sized SIM cards at a time and it is even loaded with common connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The front panel of the smartphone flaunts a 3.5-inch touchscreen of HVGA 320 x 280p resolution as well as a QWERTY keypad to facilitate typing. A 1.3MP webcam has also been tossed into it for allowing you to make face-to-face conference calls. And as a 5MP camera has been fitted on the rear panel, you can easily take good quality images and videos.
Based on the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS, the Intex smartphone draws power from a dual core processor which can clock in a maximum speed of up to 1.2GHz. The company has integrated 512MB of RAM into the phone to help the SoC with the task of ensuring smooth multitasking and navigation. A 1500mAh battery rests under the hood as well.
The Intex Aqua Qwerty is slated to be made available in India for Rs 4,990.
