Immediately after unveiling its new its new flagship, Intex has gone on to reveal yet another smartphone from its portfolio in the form of the Aqua HD. Priced at Rs 15,900, it is now available for purchase via Infibeam which should start shipping it within four to five days. No points for guessing the resolution of its display, but other significant specifications of the dual SIM device include a quad core processor, a 13MP camera and more.
The Intex Aqua HD features a 4.7-inch capacitive touch panel bearing a 720p resolution. Its size comes up to 137.5mm x 67.4mm x 7.9mm, while its weight has been set at 133 grams. 1GB worth of RAM has been placed inside the phone, while its operations are handled by a quad core MTK 6589 processor ticking at 1.2GHz. Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean may not be the latest version of Google’s OS, but it’s certainly an appreciable one in terms of functionality.
4GB of internal storage finds its way into the Intex Aqua HD, but there’s a microSD card slot to support further expansions. Accompanying its 13MP rear shooter is a 5MP front camera. Furthermore, one of the dual SIM slots of this phone is compatible with micro SIM cards, while the other has been reserved for regular ones. The Aqua HD is kept going by a 1,800mAh battery which promises talktime of up to five to six hours and standby time of 300 hours.
