Intex Aqua HD now official, Aqua i4 phablet with Android 4.2 announced

We’ve already reported about the Aqua HD going up for sale earlier this month and the company has now officially unveiled the smartphone in India along with the Aqua i4 phablet. The new handsets cater to the mid-range and entry-level segments, respectively, and they both are accompanied by budget-minded prices.

The Intex Aqua i4 is the cheaper model, but it’s larger than the 4.7-inch HD phone by mere millimeters. The device sports a 5-inch touchscreen proffering FWVGA resolution. We don’t have many details about the handset’s specifications and what’s known so far is that a dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHZ will power up the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform. Apart from these, the i4 will have dual cameras, 8MP rear and 1.3MP front, and 32GB of internal memory. There’s no word of a microSD card slot being onboard.
