Intex 2111-FHD budget LED TV launched at Rs 9990

The 21-inch Intex 2111-FHD, the newest entry in the company’s lineup of affordable LED TVs, has been launched for Rs 9990. At that price, it’s one of the cheapest full HD television sets available in the Indian market currently.

The 53cm ADS panel of the Intex 2111-FHD has a mega dynamic contrast ratio with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p. It has an aspect ratio of 16:9 and uses Eye Safe-T Matrix technology in order to prevent eye strain. The TV’s brightness measures 200cd/m2 and it has an in-built Digital Noise filter which removes noise on the display and in the audio.

The Intex 2111-FHD weighs a light 2.4kg and plays sound through two 3W high fidelity stereo speakers. It has a ‘No Signal Power Saving’ feature that functions as an energy saving mode to ensure less power consumption. Other facets of the TV include a wide voltage range, a USB port, an HDMI port, a mini jack for PC audio input and a headphone port.

The Intex TV has been valued competitively and that should set it apart from other television sets in its segment. It will be challenging TVs such as the Vu 18.5 VL, which measures a smaller 47cm but costs Rs 7990 on Flipkart (Rs 6990 with an exchange offer).

The Vu LED TV has an A+ Grade ADS Panel with a resolution of 1366 x 768p and uses ADSDS (Advanced Super Dimension Switch) technology to ensure wide viewing angles in addition to images free of rippling. It also has support for USB devices, HDMI and noise reduction.

There’s no release date for the Intex 2111-FHD yet, and as we said above, the TV is retailing for Rs 9990.
