IDrive has introduced new versions of its Windows, Mac and mobile software which are aimed at allowing home and small business users to create an online backup for almost unlimited number of PCs along with iOS and Android handsets. Also, the system allows them to protect content in all these gadgets using a single plan.
Home users can avail of two plans, with one of them offering 50GB at $4.95 per month. Another scheme lets them use 500GB for $14.95 every month. Using either of these plans, customers can extend protection to an unlimited number of Windows, Mac, iOS or Android devices for a desired time period.

For additional security, users can also demand a private encryption key. Also, the True Archive storage feature automatically stores 30 latest versions of a file, and data is never deleted by itself. Business plans for this service begin at 50GB which has a starting price of $9.95 per month and also offers priority customer support.
Sharing files and accessing accounts just about anywhere is made possible through the IDrive app for mobile devices which can be downloaded from the Android Market as well as the Apple App Store. Home and server editions for Windows and Mac can be grabbed from the official IDrive website.
