A couple of new smartphones called Idea Ultra II and !d1000 have been introduced in India by the carrier for those who want 3G network access without shelling out a huge amount of money. The former is a 5.5-inch phablet, whereas the latter is a compact 3.5-inch device that falls in the entry-level category.

Idea Ultra II:

This second generation device delivers visuals in qHD 960 x 540p resolution and tags along an 8MP camera as well as 2MP webcam. The former snapper has LED flash, auto focus, video recording capability and a number of other features. A quad core processor ticking at 1.3GHz processor hides under the hood and works in tandem with 1GB RAM, the Jelly Bean 4.2 OS and a 2500mAh battery.
