Those who love reading books on their iPhones have dulcet news in store for them. Apple has upgraded it iBooks application to version 1.2 with some amazing goodies packed in. Augmenting its offering for iPhone owners world over, this software now lets them experience fully illustrated books.

This means that now all those children’s picture and artistically designed books will look extremely alluring and gorgeous in the user’s iPhone. Another fresh feature is the ability to organize books and PDFs into personal Collections by simply swiping their fingers right or left. Handset owners who have access to one of the printers that is compatible with AirPrint can even print PDF documents and notes.

iBooks claims to now fit in more words per page than before by automatically hyphenating the text. However, only those iPhone users will be able to access this function whose device operates on iOS 4.2 or later. The application is available on the App Store for free.
