A duo of Windows 8.1 tablets has just been introduced into the Indian market in the form of the iBall Slide WQ149i and Slide WQ149R which can be bought at Rs 18499 and Rs 19999, respectively. These hybrid devices bear 10.1-inch displays on their front surfaces, and even come bundled with their own pogo-pin keyboards.
Connectivity features are what differentiate these two slates from each other. While the iBall Slide WQ149i model just kicks in Wi-Fi support, its WQ149R variant goes for 3G compatibility as well. Additionally, both these tablets can connect to 3G networks with the help of a dongle.
iBall has equipped these new tablets with 10.1-inch IPS displays bearing a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The Intel Atom processor has been chosen to be ticking at their hearts with a clock speed of 1.83GHz. This CPU is assisted in its operations by 2GB worth of RAM.
The Slide WQ149i and Slide WQ149R models offer 5MP rear cameras and 2MP front snappers to satisfy the photography needs on their buyers. They have been fitted with 32GB of onboard storage space, while the company is even offering a free Microsoft Office 365 license along with every purchase, apart from 1TB of free OneDrive cloud storage for one whole year.
