Equipped with a 7-inch display and a quad core processor, the iBall Slide Q40i tablet has just been launched in India with its price kept locked at an extremely affordable Rs 4999. This device is made unique by its ability to provide wire-free FM radio reception.

The slate runs the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, but there’s no news of any possible Lollipop update in the future. Apart from an antenna for wire-free FM radio, the iBall Slide Q40i has even been blessed with USB OTG compatibility by its Mumbai-based maker.

The 7-inch panel that rests atop the front surface of this sleek tablet showcases its visuals in a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. iBall has fitted inside the device a 1.3GHz quad core processor that’s given assistance in its operations by 512MB worth of RAM.
