The iBall CompBook Excelance and CompBook Exemplaire have been launched in India, with the former likely the cheapest 11.6-inch laptop available in the world right now. The devices are set to hit offline and online outlets soon.
Both the iBall CompBook Excelance and CompBook Exemplaire are aimed at first-time laptop buyers. The standard Windows 10 version is priced at Rs 9999 and Rs 13999, respectively. Those looking to utilize Windows 10 Pro will have to shell out Rs 19999 for the Excelance Pro and Rs 24999 for the Exemplaire Pro.
The two mainly differ in terms of display size and weight. While the CompBook Excelance sports an 11.6-inch HD (1366 x 768p) screen and weighs 1.09kg, the CompBook Exemplaire goes for a 14-inch 1366 x 768p panel and weighs 1.4kg only. These factors aside, all models of the new iBall laptop series offer the same set of specs.

Notable among them include the CompBook Excelance’s 10000mAh battery which can supposedly last for up to 8 hours 30 minutes of video playback and 31 hours of standby time. The company has further included a set of dual speakers, though these are unfortunately located at the bottom of the gadget.
