i.Tech SolarVoive 908 Last month, the i.Tech SolarVoice 908 was introduced and finally the solar-powered headset has reached the US stores.

The SolarVoice 908 supports Bluetooth Version 2.1 + EDR Class 2 and multipoint technology facilitating users to connect the headset to two handsets concurrently. The eco-friendly device delivers around five hours of talktime, infinite standby time while in optimum sunlight and up to 140 hours of standby time without sunlight.

“Our new SolarVoice 908 taps into the power of the sun to charge, making it perfect for consumers who are trying to be environmentally conscious. SolarVoice stays charged as long as it’s exposed to sunlight, so busy people have two less things to worry about: keeping their Bluetooth headset charged and reducing their carbon footprint,” quoted Christopher Parsons, vice president, sales and marketing, Sino Regent Services, i.Tech’s exclusive distributor in the Americas.

The Bluetooth headset packages advanced suite of digital signal processing software that diminishes background noise and distortion. The device measures 2.15” x 0.68” x 0.49” and weighs around 0.42 ounces. By means of A2DP, users can stream songs from Bluetooth mobile phones or music devices with A2DP. Some of the headset functionalities include voice dialing, last-number redial, call reject, call transfer from headset to mobile phone and vice-versa, auto re-link, call waiting and call swap.
