Hulu Plus app now on nine Android smartphones

Hulu Logo The month of June saw Hulu Plus app reach Android platforms via six smartphones with its promise to be offered on other handsets soon. The Hulu blog reveals that the app will now be available on Android powered Motorola Droid Bionic, Motorola Droid 3, Motorola Droid X2, LG Revolution, LG G2x, HTC Incredible 2, HTC Evo 3D and HTC Sensation, and HTC Flyer tablet.

Now, these handset users can see current episodes of Modern Family, Misfits and Hell’s Kitchen and also view past seasons of Family Guy and The X-Files. They can enjoy all of these services when on the move. Plus, movie-buffs can also select and watch hundreds of movies from Miramax and the Criterion Collection.

The dose of entertainment from the app coupled with some great specs of mobile phones, might just keep entertainers at the edge of their seats. With the gadget’s ability to provide 3G and 4G speeds for viewing shows through the app, makes for an interesting infusion of software and hardware services.

Hulu Plus allows movies to be viewed over Wi-Fi thus, providing a convenient option for people who are constantly travelling. So, if network services are acting funny users can always continue watching movies/shows at the nearest Wi-Fi hotspot. 30 Rock, The Office, Grey’s Anatomy, Glee, Saturday Night Live are some of the other many famous shows that users will be able to enjoy.

The Hulu Plus app can be downloaded for free at the Android Market, while its subscriptions will cost $7.99/month.
